Measuring Dates

LOOKING TO BRING YOUR HORSE/PONY FOR IT’S FIRST MEASURE?  GO TO THE RAS WEBSITE AND DO ALL THE PAPERWORK PRIOR TO COMING TO THE MEASURING STAND.  FILL OUT THE PRE REGISTRATION FORM – EMAIL IT BACK TO THEM AND PAY THEM THE FEE. FOLLOW THEIR INSTRUCTIONS.  WHEN YOU GET THIS BACK FROM THEM BRING ALL OF THE PAPER WORK  ALONG WITH YOU. 

NEXT MEASURING DATE: We have held 2 x measuring days already this year and our next measuring day will not be until Jan/Feb 2026 – date to be confirmed.

 

ALL MEASURING WILL BE DONE BY BOOKINGS ONLY.  A TIME WILL BE ALLOCATED TO YOU.  PLEASE EMAIL OR TXT TO BOOK IN – EMAIL: rotoruashow@gmail.com or Txt Sarah on: 027 311 7010 

Please remember to do your pre registration with RAS if it is a NEW measure.  This must be done with RAS  and you need to have the papers back from them before booking an appointment.

Payment to be made by direct credit before attending the day.

INSIDE  GATE 8 AREA – WESTERN ROAD, NGONGOTAHA.(Please make sure you only enter in through the Gate 8 entrance  DO NOT GO THROUGH THE MAIN AGRODOME ENTRANCE AT ALL)  Thank you.

 First Measure $40.00   

Pre-Registration Measure $40.00 

Annual Measure $25.00  

Youngstock Remeasure $15.00                                                                       

Life Measure $100.00   Replacement (lost) Certificates $100.00

 

Other Fees:

Replacement Certificates (no columns left for further information) $40.00.   

Temporary Measuring Certificate $20.00.                

Change of Ownership, Change of Classification, Lease $30.00. 

Subsequent Change of Classification $100.00

These fees were passed at the RAS AGM 2025.

NOTICE:

Under new Health & Safety Regulations, please  be aware of the following:-

You must  wear strong, closed in footwear while handling your horse at the Measuring Stand.   Horses/Ponies (excluding miniatures) 3 years and over are required to be presented for measuring in a bridle and shall have a bit in their mouth.  The reins or the lead shall be connected to the bit.

While all care is taken, you enter this property at your own risk.
